Job Summary

DESCRIPTION

The primary objective of the Security Specialist -Audit and compliance
is to provide security services, investigation and asset protection in designated area of responsibility and assist in mitigating product loss and maintain customer satisfaction in accordance with Global Security guidelines and policies.

The role is cross-functional and requires deep collaboration and influencing ability with stakeholders from business and corporate functions.
As a Compliance and Audit Security Specialist, you will be responsible to manage and maintain 100%, regulatory compliance of security agencies engaged with Amazon, you also need to coordinate with vendors and the auditors for closure of non compliance, weekly and monthly business review with vendors for closures of non-compliances, coordinating with regional compliance team in closing the compliance issues. Conducting the FGD across the all the sites and initiating for action. This role will support India SLP However, you will work cross functionally with team members in order to drive SLP Team performance. You will also be responsible to conduct various process audits pertaining to INSLP (India Security and Loss Prevention) and ensure closure of findings in coordination with respective stake holders.

The ideal candidates will have prior Labour compliance education and experience, a strong work ethic based on a strong desire to drive process improvements; strong interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask and self-motivate. This position requires an understanding of compliance and audit concepts, the ability to meet tight deadlines and efficiently interact with various groups across the company.

Minimum requirements include Bachelors degree in Labour Compliance or a related field
Provides audit information to management by researching and analyzing data; preparing reports.
Prepares compliance audit data by compiling and analyzing internal and external information.
Supports departments by collecting and coordinating internal compliance data with auditors and various departments.
Provides administrative support by implementing systems, procedures, and policies; completing projects in support of compliance auditors.
Helps Vendors by answering questions and responding to requests.
Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation.
Enforces adherence to requirements and advises management on needed actions.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
Enhances compliance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
Develop KPIs (Scorecards) to drive improved vendor performance.
Update or develop documentation on processes that are critical to success of your function
Conducts various audits , close the findings and generate reports








BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in dealing with Legal/Labour compliance for minimum 3 years
Reporting research results
Identify issues and enhancements to processes, implementing change in conjunction with partnering teams
Minimum 3 years experience in Auditing
Excellent analytical and statistical skills
Problem solving
Excellent written & verbal communication skills including computer skills in Word, Power point, and Excel
Collaborate with team members in answering business questions
Proven problem solving skills, project management skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills
Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast paced environment
Bachelors degree or higher.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in vendor management.
Experience in Labour / legal compliance & HR
Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, and SharePoint
MBA/MSW in HR/Compliance
Certfication in audits
