Do you want to play an instrumental role in bringing leading diversity and inclusion (D&I) strategies to Amazon India high growth environment? The Diversity and Inclusion team supporting Consumer WW is seeking an experienced and influential D&I Program Manager to help the HR team and our business partners create and execute against our strategic D&I plans. Reporting to the D&I Director, youll use your skills to work both across the business as well as with specific teams to help them develop and rollout innovative and impactful D&I plans. You will partner with the business leadership team to design, coordinate, roll out and measure our D&I initiatives.

The primary role of the D&I Program Manager is to bring project/program management experience, good judgement, and the entrepreneurial spirit to delivering new diversity and inclusion products and solving complex problems in how Amazon India sources, hires, retains, develops and promotes talent and supports a diverse and inclusive workforce culture. Your job is to work across HR partners and business units to develop scalable solutions to be adopted by different organizations. You will plan, execute, and deliver work product in multiple formats including mechanisms and frameworks, self-service tools, in-person development activities, training facilitation, presentations and specific consultation based on leaders needs. Ability to access and analyze quantitative and qualitative data, assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, address partner concerns, make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs as they implement centralized guidance around diversity program execution is critical. You are a strategic thinker and a master program manager who can roll up their sleeves and implement at the same time. This role requires the ability to be a thought leader, to customize solutions, to educate and influence a team of passionate and engaged senior leaders, and the ability to translate strategies or prior practices into practical and actionable solutions that meet business needs.

You should not only be passionate about delivering meaningful D&I solutions but obsessed with rigorous goal-setting, continuous process improvement, and consulting with employees at all levels.

Specifically, you will:
Design and drive our D&I strategy and initiatives; leverage mechanisms to regularly update the business leaders on progress and business impact
Build D&I plans aligned and in support of our business plans; develop goals and strategies; implement and scale initiatives across Amazon India
Partner with the Human Resources team to develop mechanisms that foster a more inclusive environment
Interact with stakeholders at multiple levels to define and deliver complex features
Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints
Identify and analyze data to isolate issues, develop solutions, and prioritize opportunities for quality metrics and quality standards. Maintain D&I data integrity and report on such data
Plan and manage multiple parallel projects. Maximize resources for the greater good of the organization
Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels
Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders and senior management
Remain flexible to changing priorities, open to new ideas and have candidate and employee experience as the top focus

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors Degree
7+ years of relevant program/project management experience
7+ years of experience working in an HR or business function
Experience analyzing data to inform action planning
Experience delivering projects across multiple businesses
Experience measuring customer satisfaction or quality initiatives

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Diversity & Inclusion and/or HR experience
Experience using data-driven decision making

Skillset Requirement

Strong analytic skills and the ability to think strategically and programmatically
Strong project management skills, successful teaming with colleagues, and a strong results orientation

Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in an approachable manner
Ability to motivate, influence and optimize senior leadership, stakeholders and peer groups
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well across functions. Experience effectively partnering with HR and business teams to build effective HR or talent programs and strategies
Good organization skills with the ability to manage heavy workloads and multiple tasks
Excellent judgment, discretion and sensitivity when working with people and information
