The team is looking for an experienced Product Manager to coordinate and drive efforts across multiple technology and Compliance teams. Ideal candidates will possess solid project management skills, be detail driven and have solid problem-solving abilities, as well as having a well-rounded technical background in IT systems management. They will be structured with good judgment; negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent and leadership are essential to growth in this role. They will need the ability to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or multiple competing priorities, but able to roll up their sleeves, dig in and get the job done. The role needs a results-oriented pragmatical approach to drive important decisions, measure progress and improve risk management or the customer experience.

In this position, the candidate will:
Work across the teams to coordinate cross-functional projects with established safety and compliance standards
Work with stakeholders to identify resources, assemble project teams, and assign responsibilities
Assess costs, benefits and risks; anticipate bottlenecks; identify, track and mitigate issues; handle escalations; anticipate and make trade-offs; and balance business needs with technical constraints
Clearly communicate goals, responsibilities, issues and status to team members and stakeholders
Promote effective teamwork, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate local and remote groups with conflicting priorities
Support cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of projects and initiatives with data
Conduct ad-hoc data retrieval and analysis using relational databases, Excel and other data management systems

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Proven ability to organize and prioritize multiple technical projects from concept to deployment
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of technology-oriented Product /program management experience
Solid understanding of software development process with an appreciation for maintaining a high-quality bar with low operational overhead
High-quality communication and negotiation skills to prioritize projects and get commitments from internal stakeholders, including TPMs, SDEs, SDMs, Product Managers, and leaders at multiple levels across operations, legal, and business areas
Proven ability to influence remote teams
Good writing and communication skills
High-quality analytical and project reporting skills
Unparalleled bias for action with an ability to operate in an innovative environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

A degree in product management, computer science, or engineering or equivalent experience
An understanding of software product development life-cycles
An understanding of online application development
Experience in delivering Amazon-scale systems
Experience in coordinating roll-out and operations of large-scale commercial enterprise software systems or online services
