Job Summary

Amazon is building a portfolio of self-service, cost per click, Performance Advertising Programs Worldwide (Amazon Advertising). The team in Bangalore, India, proactively works with advertisers to drive advertiser success through product adoption and support of existing and new self-service advertising programs. The Advertiser Success Team in Bangalore, has functional expertise in On-boarding and educating new customers, Account management, Market analysis and Program management. Working with Advertisers, Account Managers and Product Managers, we champion the voice of customers in the organization and influence product road map to enhance customer experience and help them improve their business through advertising.

Job opportunity & Role:

We are looking for a leader with deep understanding of online advertising, strategic thinking capabilities, people leadership skills, rigorous execution skills and a collaborative mindset to grow and develop the team that works with the largest advertising customers of Amazon world wide. This is an opportunity to scale a global program with the potential for explosive growth, standing at the intersection of e-commerce and advertising.

This person will be responsible for setting up and scaling relevant programs, improve performance of existing programs, lead and motivate a large team, hire and mentor talent, influence Product and Engineering on product requirements and work effectively with stakeholders across time zones and functions and ensure that the strategic and tactical goals are met. The ideal person will be comfortable in an ambiguous environment of explosive growth, and be comfortable making fast paced decisions using data and insights. This person would also be flexible enough to both dive deep or go broad and high level with ease.

Responsibilities:

Working with their teams, the leader should be able to:
Create, build and scale programs which eliminate barriers to Advertiser success and help them grow their business.
Coach and mentor front line managers and ad success specialists to understand customer business and develop advertising solutions that will deliver high impact.
Define metrics that will help the team continuously improve advertising solutions and help provide insights to Sales teams to help them grow their business.
Deliver against the targets on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
Hire, groom and grow team members.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Masters degree, preferably top tier MBA.
Excellent coaching skills.
Good understanding of customer needs and online advertising solutions.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
Excellent stakeholder relationship management skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

MBA from a top tier institution
E commerce or online advertising experience.
Excellent people skills.
Experience of influencing stakeholders across multiple functions especially, Sales, Product Managers and Technical teams.
Proven problem solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Excellent analytical skills.
