Job Summary

DESCRIPTION

The Amazon Vision Operations Center (AVOC) team is an initiative which partners with the Amazon Robotics team to remotely handle exceptions in the Amazon Robotic Fulfillment Centers in North America. The TRON technology enables the human supervisory control of automated tasks. In the TRON system, a remote associate provides supervisory control when automated tasks fail for any reason. This allows us to avoid falling into the 90/10 trap where a task can be 90% automated but requires 90% of the time for the last 10% of functionality. Our strategy is to employ a human-as-sensor model and allow humans to perform just those portions of a task that require higher order cognitive ability.

AVOC team is seeking an experienced Trainer to coordinate, execute and implement various training programs used to train new hires and existing associates including leadership. S/he will become an expert in AVOC processes, liaise with other site training managers, Operations Managers, Team Managers and global leaders to ensure training deliverable meet accuracy and throughput standards. The Trainer must have a passion for, relationship-building, as well as data efficiency and accuracy.

Job Responsibilities
Become proficient in business processes
Creating training plan for various training programs.
Creating content for all types of training and process SOPS.
Conducting external and internal leadership trainings.
Preparing and scheduling special training (Process change updates, Peak refreshers, etc.).
Coordinating with the capacity planning team for the projection of new joiners for New hire Orientation
Conducting Training, Audit and SME sync ups
Performing Training Need analysis to propose new training solutions to improve quality metrics
Partnering with the instructional Designing team to create E-learning Modules and other contents
Creating content, SOPs for New projects and conducting trainings on them
Ad hoc Trainings and follow up with trainees
Comprehending the changes in the process and creating effective training plan
Working closely with the trainers and the team to achieve difficult but common goals
Preparing Monthly Assessments on the basis of top defect categories identified in job audits
Analyzing Training Need Analysis(TNA) requirements and creating training plans accordingly
Communicates effectively both verbal and written form on all interactions within and outside of the Training team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS


Bachelors or advanced degree in a relevant field
3+ years experience as a Trainer
Excellent proficiency in English
Excellent communication, strong organizational skills and very detail oriented

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working with a globally distributed team to achieve shared objectives
Experience working with various internal teams (including technical) to collect requirements, evaluate alternatives, and develop processes and tools
