We work closely with internal customers like Machine Learning Science modeling teams, providing the critical data they need to improve Alexas Automatic Speech Recognition and Natural Language Understanding models and domain features. Job Mission
The Learning, Language, Process and Performance (L2P2) India Training Team, has an opening for a Training Delivery Manager located in Chennai. This individual will lead and manage training delivery operations and activities. Responsibilities will span all of the following areas but are not limited to:
Training delivery and management
Managing a team of Training Managers
Own training metrics and reporting
Internal and stakeholder communications

Roles and Responsibilities:
Own the end-to-end training delivery at a site level at Chennai (India), aligned with Global Training Programs.
Managing a team of training specialists/trainers to implement multiple programs and projects concurrently. Owning, planning and coordinating, delivering and facilitating workflow training modules such as New Hire Trainings (NHTs) and Cross Trainings (CTs), launch training for new services, and other ADS-specific training as necessary.
Administrating Site Training, including testing and certification, managing scheduling and reporting on work outcomes and impact
Working with Operations and Team Managers, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and other key stakeholders to identify target audience training needs and deliver learning modules against required training timelines.
Identifying site-specific knowledge gaps through observations, focus groups, quality checks, and data analysis and propose specific training topics based on findings. Identifying and contributing to continuous improvement of training cycles and processes.
Own and share regular updates across various channels and audiences. Monitoring, tracking and reporting on training completion and success metrics. Ensure cross-team coordination on training reports of status and risks and steps for mitigating risks.
Proficient in data analysis - gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends from across sites and develop strong recommendations for result-oriented training programs.
Build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional business partners to plan, deploy and report on training programs.
Serving as an instruction/training subject matter expert (SME) to advise trainers on training organization and presentation.
Supporting the development and validation of training materials for use during classroom or virtual training, webinars, blended learning programs and online self-directed modules or materials
Manage, develop and support the professional growth on direct reports. Manage performance, goal setting and career development of the line reports, which include coaching and managing under performance as well.
Ability to present with clarity at all levels and be able to influence without authority.
Maintaining strict confidentiality and follow all applicable Amazon policies for securing confidential information


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Science, Education, Business Administration or related field.
4 years of experience in leading training program and projects ideally in the area of Operations Training.
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders to define and implement processes for training programs and projects.
Knowledge of learning and training best practices. Ability to use multiple learning methods and link appropriate methods with subject matter experts
Experience in managing teams in training in the data processing/operations environment, and supporting their success and growth.
Experience working globally and managing remote teams
Strong project Project/program management and organizational skills
Experience in Data Analysis - working on MS Excel, analyzing data and making sound recommendations. Proficient user of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Ability to deal with ambiguity and prioritize, manage, and complete projects with tight deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Qualifications
Masters Degree in Education, Science, Business Administration or related field.
Experience in leading training and training projects, specifically from a data processing environment.
Training Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.
Proven ability to think strategically, but stay on top of tactical execution.
