Amazons growth continues unabated. To support this growth globally, Employee Services is driving to redesign our processes and tools for service globalization and infinite scalability. Whilst we will have teams in our organization that will work on large scale operational delivery, we also need expertise in specific areas such as project management, process excellence, pay quality and workforce / cost management. These domain experts will drive delivery improvement and constant iteration based on their ability to understand the unique context of Amazon and be driven by the desire to deliver flawless and frustration free services to our end customers.
The role will sit in the global Employee Services organization (Lifecycle) and report directly into the India HR Service Delivery Manager. The role holder will focus on key areas such as planning, cost and headcount forecasting

The successful candidate will have deep knowledge of Workforce Management with proven experience in planning, forecasting and supporting cost tracking. Ideally, the role holder will have experience across different regions and a track record of effective decision-making based on the analysis of data and operational metrics. They will also raise the bar in the areas of customer obsession, ownership, bias for action and deliver results.

Responsibilities include:
Develop and implement comprehensive and consistent strategies, tools, and processes related to Data Management workforce planning.
Produce accurate Long, Medium, and Short term headcount forecasts and reports on anticipated work volume and capacity across all hubs.
Analyze hub performance identifying cost drivers and opportunities for efficiencies Track Data Management spend against cost target and report out monthly.
Support Peak readiness and planning process defining a robust approach across the hub network and providing clear and accurate headcount reports during the Peak period.
Provide data for monthly MBR report outs. Also provide other adhoc and regular report as needed.
Prepare for and lead review meetings with Data Management with regard to cost and workforce management.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

8+ years relevant WFM experience Bachelor's degree in applicable field of study Advanced proficiency with spreadsheet software (e.g. Excel) and quality tools Familiarity with data querying and manipulation via SQL Reporting and analytics experience Self-starter, strong drive, bias for action, and result oriented Highly organized, able to prioritize and work under pressure on a number of projects at the same time Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels within and outside the organization Fluent in English Experience of working in a shared services model, ideally HR

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred qualifications . HR Operations and HR process management experience . WFM experience . Project Management experience Demonstrated program ownership and consistent delivery on commitments - great organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail
