Roles & Responsibilities:
- Establish the Learning & Development (L&D) function from the ground up, including frameworks, policies, and infrastructure.
- Build and lead a high-performing L&D team aligned with organizational learning goals.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to align training strategies with business objectives.
- Identify skill gaps and training needs by engaging with managers and team leads.
- Develop a comprehensive annual training calendar based on organizational and individual development needs.
- Design and implement a variety of training programs, including technical, soft skills, leadership, and compliance training.
- Create e-learning content and self-paced digital learning resources.
- Develop Leadership and Management Development Programs to build internal leadership pipelines.
- Enhance in-house capabilities through structured skill-building initiatives.
- Design and administer assessment tools to evaluate training impact and measure learning outcomes.
- Analyze feedback and performance data to optimize learning strategies and training effectiveness.
- Design and implement a structured succession planning framework.
- Collaborate with Performance Management teams to identify high-potential and underperforming employees.
- Create individual development plans to support career progression and performance improvement.
- Plan and manage the L&D budget, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
- Monitor expenditures and ensure ROI from training investments.
- Stay abreast of L&D trends, digital learning technologies, and best practices.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and capability development across the organization.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage external training vendors and consultants.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure delivery quality aligns with organizational standards.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Learning & Development.
- At least 5 years in a leadership capacity, preferably within the IT or technology industry.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Learning Management Systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, and training analytics tools.
Leadership & Interpersonal Skills:
- Strong team management, coaching, and people development capabilities.
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive strategic learning agendas.
Analytical & Project Management:
- Data-driven mindset; ability to use analytics for tracking learning outcomes and improving programs.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple learning projects simultaneously.
Communication:
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
- Master s degree or certifications such as CPLP, SHRM-CP, or ATD credentials preferred.
