Job Summary


This is an opportunity to join a growing team that is leading a digital transformation to enable aggressive adoption of edge processing within ADI products. This position will be part of an engineering team responsible for designing and producing an FPGA for prototyping for ADI s Digital Processing Platform designs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy an FPGA platform to enable early firmware validation for a processor subsystem
  • Identify, debug, and fix issues when porting the RTL design to the FPGA
  • Perform FPGA synthesis, place & route, and timing optimizations
  • Support the embedded software and verification teams through FPGA bring-up, debug, and validation

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar field
  • 4+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Hands on experience with FPGA development, bring-up, and troubleshooting
  • Experience doing digital design (Verilog preferred)
  • Experience with FPGA development tool flows
  • Experience writing automation scripts using Python, Perl, or Shell
  • Familiarity with lab bring-up, debug, and measurement equipment
  • Working knowledge of SoC architecture and embedded software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated team player with the ability to work effectively as part of a geographically dispersed team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with a prototyping platform like Protium or HAPS
  • Experience working with SystemVerilog and UVM verification environments
  • Experience working with an emulation platform like Palladium, Zebu, or Veloce is a plus
