Fusa Sw Engineer Job in Analog Devices

As a Functional Safety Engineer, you will perform a full range of product development activities including, but not limited to:

• Working with system, hardware and software teams to ensure safety requirements are well understood and implemented.
• Work with the wider Analog Devices Functional Safety organization to enhance and deploy safety processes internally.
• Ensuring the safety processes are correctly applied.

Job Duties:

Champion safety culture, while guiding software teams towards an efficient application of ISO 26262.
Contribute to safety requirements gathering.
Contribute to project feasibility studies.
Work with project management and software teams on planning safety projects.
Work with the SQA team on planning test activities.
Safety analysis of embedded SW projects.
Participate in safety review, assessment and audit activities.

Requirements:

Computer or Electronic Engineering degree and 10+ years of relevant experience with a strong background in functional safety.
Hands-on experience applying ASPICE and ISO 26262 up to ASIL D
Advanced understanding of ASPICE and ISO 26262 standards, with accreditation from a recognised source
Ability to demonstrate that an understanding of the true intent of the standards versus blindly following them.
An appreciation of system and HW design with experience of working on complex embedded systems
Experience of low power wireless systems
Motivated, results oriented and creative problem solver with good writing, presentation and overall communication skills
Willingness and ability to learn something new quickly
Comfortable taking calculated risks
Innately curious with a desire to understand the business model, operations, financial structure for the organization
Has a bias for action and works in collaboration with others to deliver results
High tolerance for ambiguity
