The role demands to be the key between business users and development team as Functional Data Analyst.
The Functional Data Analyst need to organize recurring requirement understanding meetings with business users/ PO/BA to understand the current data quality issues in the source systems and high level requirements.
It requires to understand the high level business requirement and from the high level requirements the DA along with BA determine the detail requirements to provide timely and highly accurate data from strategic C&SB system to support a range of DQ, reconciliation and operational process.
The DA explores different source systems to come up with the business use cases , acceptance criteria, in-scope and out-cope of each capability.
She/He needs to conduct multiple KT sessions with development team to share end to end knowledge on the business requirement and data analysis report to facilitate the team to build the DQ reports.
Also the DA needs to review the DQ report from business requirement perspective once the report is productized.
Need to Provide support to development team on adhoc basis to address the business/data issues during development work.
She/He needs to have good knowledge in Azure sqldb as well as Hadoop Hue and SQL query writing.
Should be familiar with Agile framework and methodologies
