Position description:

• Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards on the key drivers of our business
• Partner with operations/business teams to consult, develop and implement KPIs, automated reporting/process solutions and data infrastructure improvements to meet business needs
• Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format
• Prepare and deliver business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks
• Analyze historical and customer segmentation data to identify trends and insights
• Design, develop and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc. that will support our business needs.
• Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Understand business requirements & efficiently pull and query business marketing data using SQL and Tableau and/or Microsoft SSRS as per requirement.

• 4+ years of relevant work experience in a role requiring the application of analytic skills using Structured Query Language (SQL) to integrate with a Data analyst or Statistical Analysis role.
• Structured Query Language (SQL) like Microsoft-SQL_x009d_ (preferred) or any other Structured Query Language like Oracle, MySQL (work will be on MSSQL only).
• Creating complex SQL Queries joining multiple datasets
• Data Visualization tools such as Tableau_x009d_ (preferred) / Microsoft - SSRS / Power BI.
• Advanced ability to draw insights from data and clearly communicate them to the stakeholders and senior management as required.
• Be self-driven, and show the ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete data.
• An ability and interest in working in a fast-paced, ambiguous and rapidly-changing environment
• 3+ years of relevant experience in Financial/Brokerage House domain (preferably SQL Development in Stock Market/Financial data like NSE/BSE Equity data, MutualFunds data in a SQL Developer role)
• 3+ years experience in developing requirements and formulating business metrics for reporting, familiarity with data visualization tools, e.g. Tableau (preferred), Microsoft-SSRS, Power BI
