Position description:
- To write test scenarios, test cases and execute it.
- To understand the requirements and functional specifications of the application.
- To participate in identifying the test scenarios and designing the test cases.
- To provide technical support to team members.
- Debugging and execution of Test cases.
- To perform cross-browser & cross-platform testing
- To provide updates on testing progress or other activities to the QA manager and other teams
- Maintaining status reports & presenting as & when required
- Basic understanding of Scrum and JIRA.
Desired Skills:
- Passionate about understanding the application end to end
- Effective communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders
- 2 to 4 years of core experience in software testing
- Good knowledge of SQL database
- Experience of defect logging, tracking and verifying defect, knowledge of defect tracking tools
- Experience of working in highly agile environment
- Good knowledge in financial and capital market domain, preferably in Stock . Knowledge of testing Web /Mobile and Desktop applications
Primary Responsibilities:
- Functional Testing, System and Integration Testing, Compatibility Testing, Regression Testing. Design test cases and test scenarios, Execute test cases, defect management, update the reports in JIRA
