Position description:

• Develop products from scratch
• Perform a mix of maintenance and new development as required
• Own products and drive them to customers
  
• Develop overall technical strategies from technical requirements
  
• Create & update design & functional documents
  
• Identify & troubleshoot issues as needed
  
• Implement project applications according to specifications
  
• Research technical issues & provide recommendation to enhance client websites
  
• Unit test code to ensure quality
  
• Ability to juggle multiple projects & shifting priorities
  
• Perform code review sessions with other developers & suggest improvements or alternate approaches when appropriate
  
• Assist project managers & directors with creation of task level project plans that detail the specific tasks required to deliver solution
  
• Present technical strategies to clients & gather technical requirements as needed

Desired Sills:

• Experience of building scalable architectures
• Hands-on experience with NodeJs or Java or any other Open Source technologies,
  
• Experience developing software using a formal & structured development methodology
  
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  
• Experience with test driven development & proper unit testing of code
  
• Iterative approach to development, using short development cycles & frequent builds
  
• Object orienetd programming/ Object Oriented Design (OOP/OOD)
  
• Ability to develop secure solutions & knowledge of industry best practices regarding information security & defensive development
