Desired Profile:
- Proficient in debugging Android applications to identify and resolve issues.
- Experience in designing UI layouts using common themes and styles, such as HOLO themes.
- Expertise in handling push notifications, animations, and location-based services.
- Familiarity with frameworks like Roboguice and Butter Knife for efficient resource management.
- Experience using ActionBarSherlock to implement effective top-level navigation across various Android platforms.
- Skilled in developing and configuring custom Android widgets (e.g., calendar, date picker, sliding menu, etc.).
Job Responsibilities:
- In-depth understanding of Android application architecture, including activities, services, intents, content providers, notifications, and web views.
- Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
- Familiarity with interactive application development paradigms, memory management, and network & socket programming.
- Proficient in concurrency and multi-threading for efficient app performance.
- Exposure to location-based services, supporting multiple screen sizes, security, permissions, widgets, and integration with social APIs will be considered an advantage.
