The Role: Sr. Software Engineer (UI/React)

As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in UI/React, you will be integral to building next-gen Conga products. You ll be responsible for developing responsive web applications using React or other JS frameworks while collaborating with UX/UI designers to ensure seamless user experiences. Your contributions will help create high-performance systems and shape the future of Conga s platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Front-End Development: Design and implement responsive web applications using React or other JS frameworks.
• Collaboration: Work with UX/UI designers to translate user requirements into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
• System Optimization: Continuously improve the performance, scalability, and maintainability of existing systems.
• Mentorship: Guide junior developers by promoting best practices, reviewing code, and sharing expertise.
• Technical Leadership: Drive technical excellence by adhering to coding standards and refining the development process.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate with back-end engineers, project managers, and other teams to ensure smooth integration of front-end and back-end systems.
• Documentation: Create and maintain clear documentation for design, coding standards, and development processes.
• UI Testing: Ensure the UI is well-tested using frameworks like Jest or Enzyme.

Who We re Looking For:

Experience:

4+ years of experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on React and other JavaScript frameworks.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and JS frameworks (Angular, React, LWC).
• Familiarity with CSS abstraction tools (e.g., Less, SASS) and task runners (e.g., Grunt, Gulp).
• Knowledge of web performance optimization and responsive design principles.
• Strong understanding of RESTful services and API integration.
• Experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD processes.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills and a high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and share knowledge freely.

Education:

A Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Bonus Skills:

• Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with build tools and continuous integration practices.
