Job Summary

What we're looking for: Responsible for overseeing and administering employee compensation programs. Evaluates and maintains pay structures, approves pay packages, and administers compensation programs including variable pay and equity. Reporting to the Senior Director, Total Rewards, the Compensation Specialist will partner with the Human Resource Business Partner and Talent Acquisition teams to support internal client groups globally. What you'll do: Responsible for the administration and delivery of compensation programs (salary, short-term incentives, and long-term incentives) that are aimed at attracting and retaining talent. Evaluate new or materially changed jobs and analyze market compensation to determine an appropriate job level and develop a pay structure. Partner with the Human Resource Business Partner team to provide advice to the client group and formulate solutions on compensation-related issues. Communicate and implement appropriate solutions in support of providing an effective client experience in relation to compensation. Participate in annual global compensation surveys. Acts as a subject matter expert and participate in the compensation review cycles, including reviewing the market, updating the pay structure, and partnering with the HR Operations team to configure and upload data into the system. Must-haves: Experience in total rewards or compensation. Possess a thorough understanding of compensation design practices and industry trends. Strong knowledge of compensation practices and theory; CCP designation is an asset. Advanced Excel skills and spreadsheet analysis. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. An individual with strong customer orientation and demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to create solutions. Workday experience is preferred.
