Job Summary Engineering Android Developer Mumbai, Full-time | Compensation negotiable We are looking for an Android developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a vast number of diverse Android devices. Your primary focus will be the development of Android applications and their integration with Backend services. You will be working alongside designers and other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential. Responsibilities
  • 1. Translate designs prototypes into high-quality code
  • 2. Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code
  • 3. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
  • 4. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
  • 5. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
  • 6. Solid background in software (in agile) development, and design patterns
  • 7. Experience working with product managers, UI/UX designers, customers and partners
  • 8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 9. Ability to work in a dynamic, fast moving and growing environment

  • Requirements
  • 1. 1 to 2+ Years of Relevant Experience
  • 2. Bachelor s degree in computer science, or equivalent
  • 3. Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
  • 4. Strong knowledge of Android SDK, NDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
  • 5. Familiarity with Java, Kotlin, C++, RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
  • 6. Strong knowledge of Google s Material design principles, patterns, and best practices
  • 7. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
  • 8. Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers
  • 9. Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
  • 10. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • 11. Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
  • 12. Familiarity with benchmarking and optimization
  • 13. Proficient understanding of SCM tools, such as Git, BitBucket etc.
  • 14. Familiarity with Continuous Deployment/Continuous Integration
