Postgresql Database Administrator Job in Arpan Interactive Solutions Pvt Ltd.

Job Summary

• Experience in monitoring/alerting, troubleshooting and resolving database problems- Assist with PostgreSQL environment build, administer (backup/recovery, tuning, disaster recovery, etc), write PostgreSQL- Assist with the tuning and performance of the database environment, running vacuum operations, determining optimum values for database attributes.
• Monitor database performance such as distribution of data and amount of available memory, making necessary modifications to decrease database response times and increase processing performance.
• Perform installation and testing of PostgreSQL database versions on Linux or Unix, testing for performance, stability, fail over and managing extensions, planning migration strategy.
• Ensure data integrity and security, define and monitor user permissions to ensure data is protected from unauthorized users.
