This is a Cybersecurity Engineer role, reporting to the team Manager in business area Industrial Automation (IA) located in Bangalore. You will be working at Ability Innovation Center (AIC), home to the largest technology and engineering pool in ABB globally and is a part of ABB Global Industries and Services Private Limited, a subsidiary of ABB. Your responsibilities

  • Developing use cases for Cyber security with deliverables such as Analytics Dashboards, Reports, Alerts, Site Audit / Assessment, creating reference architecture from data sourced from manufacturing sites with PLC, DCS, HMI, SCADA, Engineering Tool and infrastructure based on SIEM software such as IBM Qradar, Splunk, Forescout, etc for service delivery of cyber security advisory services as responsible for the security architecture and design of the Collaborative Operations Center (COC) solutions.
  • Coordinating with business division teams (Global & Local) for cybersecurity solution with architects, service personnel and collaborative operations center teams of division to ensure that business division solution blueprints are understood and adhered to in collaborative operations center projects.
  • Supporting and driving ABBs cyber security standards and align with collaborative operations center activities of business division.
  • Developing and executing project experience of at-least up to ten projects involving SIEM software & Manufacturing OT environment (PLC, DCS, HMI, SCADA, Engineering Tool) is desirable in the area of visualizing, architecting, implementing and auditing at enterprise level.
  • Discussing various cyber security standards and practices with customers, specifically with respect to manufacturing environment along with IT environment and advising on how ABB can support the customers cyber security strategy.

Your background

  • A Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of expertise in product development, engineering or similar.
  • Strong experience in cyber security threats and defense options (technology, procedures).
  • Knowledge of ABB or Non-ABB manufacturing offering (products, systems and services).
  • Knowledge of ABB or Security Operations Center processes, workflows & tools to deliver offerings.
  • Understanding of research and development, as well as project characteristics and engineering challenges in ABB to define measurable improvement deliverables.
  • Experience on SIEM (Security information and event management).
