This is a Division Shared Controller RA role, reporting to the Local Division Controller in Business Area RA located in Nela Mangala, Bangalore. You will be responsible for serving as an senior finance officer and supporting as a business partner to Local Division Controller to jointly drive profitable and sustainable growth.

Your responsibilities

• Serving as the key partner for the local division controller in determining local division strategy, aligning with global strategy, implementing, and making adjustments in implementation as needed.
• Maintaining constant contact with local division controller regarding financial, market and customer situation and outlook.
• Overseeing the business planning process in the local division and evaluating financial implications of various local business decisions and recommends actions.
• Contributing to definition of key performance indicators, identifying issues, and advising management on action plans and operational strategies to resolve.
• Driving for appropriate cost structure, productivity optimization, and capital efficiency.
• Ensuring transparency in financial reporting, disclosures and defining internal controls regarding financial and non-financial operations.
• Ensuring financial reporting management in accordance with defined quality standards and required ABACUS closing schedules.
• Managing and closely monitors the local divisions cashflow and takes action to improve Net Working Capital Management.
• Ensuring with Human Resource (HR) manager support that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.

Your background

• A Qualified Chartered Accountant / ICWA.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Planning & Controlling.
• Good knowledge of accounting, project management review, book closing, planning, ERP (SAP) knowledge.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must have good project management skills.
• Must have good experience in book closing & general accounting.
