This is a Project Fusion: Data Analyst role, reporting to the Project Fusion Data Lead in Global Business Services (GBS) located in Bangalore. In this global project role, you will be accomplishing activities of data conversion and migration to Workday in the context of Project Fusion. You will be transforming HR delivery for ABB globally by moving from todays dispersed HCM landscape to an operating model that builds on a single Workday instance with best-of-breed add-ons for superior user experience for employees, line managers, HR professionals and applicants. You will also be responsible for a complete, fully detailed and correct data migration rules as well as automated and manual procedures which is vital for the successful activation of the new system.

Your responsibilities

• Developing the data conversion and migration strategy, governance and framework together with the Project Fusion Data Lead and the Workday service team.
• Setting up tools to handle data mappings, their documentation and communication and managing the development of programs and instructions for execution, tracking and migration validation and showing effectiveness in Workdays methodology.
• Assisting the functional teams in resolving data inconsistencies and anomalies, planning data migration steps, collaborating with the cutover lead for a reliable data conversion or migration plan and preparing results for status meetings during rehearsals and cutover.
• Executing the data migration and validation reporting process and providing progress metrics to project management and steering committee.
• Ensuring audit compliance with Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICoFR), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other regulations for accessing to and use of personal data within the company.
• Leading effectively through a performance management culture which will be driving the companys values and successfully meeting/exceeding all relevant targets and objectives within the business.

Your background

• Graduate/post-graduate degree in Business Management, HR or related discipline.
• 5+ years of work experience and knowledge in several fields of HR Business Processes, HRIS, Human Capital Management Systems and HR Master Data in roles at large technological and industrial companies with complex organizations and multi-cultural management.
• Experience with Workday is highly favorable and must have strong leadership with vision and ambition.
• Strong analytical thinking and good communication skills to organize a global community of business process specialists towards the common solution within the given timelines.
• Must have passion for quality and speed, creativity and readiness for innovation to break new ground, integrity when dealing with highly sensitive data, can do attitude and resilience.
• Collaborative working style appreciating the inclusion of geographies, levels, functions and cultures along with developing others.
• Proven data modelling experience by having successfully worked in global deployment projects ideally in the HR domain.
• Professional proficiency in English, MS Office, digital collaboration tools/platforms.
