This is a Testing Specialist role for Fusion Project, reporting to the Project Fusion Testing Lead in Global Business Services (GBS) located in Bangalore. In this global project role, you will be managing testing efforts required in the context of Project Fusion. You will be transforming HR delivery for ABB globally by moving from todays dispersed HCM landscape to an operating model that builds on a single Workday instance with best-of-breed add-ons for superior user experience for employees, line managers, HR professionals and applicants. You will also be testing of both configuration and all system integrations which is vital for the transition success.

Your responsibilities

  • Developing the testing strategy, governance and framework together with the Testing Lead and the Workday service team.
  • Ensuring coverage of integrated and non-integrated (RPA) solutions, defining entry/exit criteria (go/no-go) for each testing stage, any separate payroll parallel strategies, testing resource and logistics plan, etc.
  • Supporting setting up tools to handle test case creation and repositories for storage and managing test execution and reporting, i.e. tracking, defect capturing and resolution, retesting and sign-off.
  • Assisting the functional teams in test case creation, establishing test stage reporting process and providing testing metrics or status towards project management and steering committee.
  • Collaborating with global functional and local testing managers and testers for performing test cycles as required by Workdays deployment methodology.
  • Collaborating with Workday in any mandatory performance testing while ensuring auditable documentation of testing in the Fusion project context.
  • Fostering automated testing of Workdays future software releases and changes incurred by ABB and ensuring knowledge transfer to enable ownership without consultants.
  • Ensuring audit compliance with Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICoFR), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other regulations for accessing to and use of personal data within the company.
  • Leading effectively through a performance management culture which will be driving the companys values and successfully meeting/exceeding all relevant targets and objectives within the business.

Your background

  • Graduate/post-graduate degree in Business Management, HR or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of work experience and knowledge in several fields of HR Business Processes, HRIS, Human Capital Management Systems and HR Master Data in roles at large technological and industrial companies with complex organizations and multi-cultural management.
  • Experience with Workday is highly favorable and must have strong leadership with vision and ambition.
  • Structured thinking and strong communication skills to organize a global community of testers and test managers towards common solutions and timelines for testing.
  • Must have passion for quality and speed, creativity and readiness for innovation to break new ground, integrity when dealing with highly sensitive data, can do attitude and resilience.
  • Collaborative working style appreciating the inclusion of geographies, levels, functions and cultures along with developing others.
  • Proven project management experience by having successfully worked in deployment projects of global scope ideally having been in charge the system testing and ideally in the HR domain.
  • Professional proficiency in English, MS Office, digital collaboration tools/platforms.
