This is a Tender and Quotation Specialist role, reporting to the Engineering Manager in Business Area - India Operations Centre, Industrial Automation (INOPC IA) located in Bangalore. You will be responsible for creating and complete bids or estimations or quotations based on customer specification or customer requirements or budget in order to achieve both market competitiveness and high margin for the Company. Maintaining and improving the balance between all ABB units and customers that are present in the area of responsibility.

Your responsibilities

• Preparing timely and comprehensive offers or quotations.
• Determining most technical appropriate and cost-effective solutions.
• Preparing offers & doing quotations standardization & competence development.
• Collaborating across the sales support team in offering solutions to country or region specific customers.
• Ensuring all proposals follow relevant ABB procedures and guidelines, rationalizing terms and conditions.
• Reviewing and analyzing the offers or quotations technical documents, requirements also identifying the scope of supply,
• configuring the product with relevant options.
• Preparing the list of technical deviations and clarifications.
• Preparing comments to customers technical specifications including relevant documents related to bid submission.

Your background

• Bachelors degree in Electronics engineering.
• Required minimum 7 to 12 years of professional in bids or proposal or tender or quotation or estimation and electrical systems engineering.
• Required Low Voltage / Medium Voltage engineering experience.
