This is a Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) frontend developer role, reporting to the UX Design System in business area Industrial Automation (IA) located in Bangalore.You will be working at Ability Innovation Center (AIC), home to the largest technology and engineering pool in ABB globally and is a part of ABB Global Industries and Services Private Limited, a subsidiary of ABB. Your responsibilities

• Providing vision and guidance for user interface and software solution designs at ABB.
• Promoting Human-Cantered Design (HCD) methods and mindset enabling organization to become more customer and user focused.
• Corporating with wide UX principles and Design System team.
• Collaborating with UX/UI designers and frontend developers in several divisions globally.
• Developing our current Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) component library and maintaining it.
• Living ABBs core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

• MCA/B.Tech/B.E from a reputed University in Computer Science /Electronics/Instrumentation.
• Required 8 to 12 years of experience in frontend development and practices.
• Very strong skills on Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) application development (in developing UI controls in WPF).
• Solid expertise on complex component styling through XAML.
• Should have expertise on WPF development on both .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• Should have skills with various version control and build management systems (including administration), most importantly Azure DevOps.
• Should have previous experience of implementing UI component library and design system, and "an eye for details.
