Job Summary

JD Edwards Financial analyst should have strong business process knowledge and will be responsible for understanding the functional requirements for AP, AR , GL and fixed assets modules and providing solutions to the customer. Will be working with the customers directly and continuously gains an understanding of the customers' operations and how systems are used in support of their operations, transferring knowledge to users, programmers and IT support personnel. You will be required to work within IT as well as across the functional business groups in the definition of requirements, solution design, configuration, and implementation. Stay abreast of new JDE releases and applications and present opportunities for improvement to the business units. Determine system requirements and recommends workable JDE solutions to management and staff.


Qualifications:

  • In depth knowledge of JD Edwards Distribution (Sales Order Management, Procurement, Inventory Management, Purchasing. Warehouse, Advanced Pricing, Transportation ) and Manufacturing {Change management, Master Scheduling, Shop floor control, Product Data Management, Material Planning and Forecasting , Work Order Management , Product Costing and Manufacturing Cost Accounting )Applications.
    • AP - Procure to Pay - Vouchering , Manual and Automatic Payment ,AAI/Integrity Reports , Vendor Master ,Netting Process, Accounts Payable Reports
    • AR -Order to Cash - Invoicing, Manual and Automatic Receipt Processing, Credit and Collection Management ,AAI , Netting Process , Integrity Reports ,Customer Master, Accounts Receivables Reports
    • GL - Journal Entry , Chart of Accounts ,Company and Business Units, Allocations, Ledger Types , Inter Company Settlements , AAI , Reconciliation, Integrity Reports, Consolidations, Budgeting , Financial Reports ,Month and Year End Process
    • Fixed assets
  • Ability to perform analysis and assess customer requirements business needs and translate them into measurable requirements and create cost
  • Relevant industry experience is an added advantage
  • Orchestrator experience is desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with JD Edwards Financial system
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, facilitation, consultation and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Quickly understands business issues and data challenges of the customer s industry
  • Planning , designing, and testing modifications for complex JDE applications
  • Providing user training and post go live support
  • Communicates verbal & written information in a clear, concise manner; responds to emails in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment and be able to exercise tact, discretion, and professionalism when dealing with internal and external customers
