Job Summary

Experience: 6 to 8 years

Location: Chennai

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Ability to understand the talent pool and their capabilities.
  • Engage with leaders and employees on a regular basis to understand the capabilities of the team.
  • Know career aspirations of the people and have a pulse on overall employee morale.
  • Develop and communicate clearly a vision of the future that is in line with the corporate vision, mission, and goals.
  • Initiate and execute Employee Engagement initiatives in the respective departments to keep people together and make the workplace exciting, rewarding and engaging.
  • Attend to employee related concerns and issues by working along with respective managers.
  • Proactively solicit inputs, ideas and opinions from others and promote cross-functional collaboration to allow for integrated decision making.
  • Talent review, identification, competency assessment, closure on feedback and creation of individual development plans.
  • Support in building the talent pipeline for critical positions by developing robust career & succession planning mechanisms.
  • Participate in the performance management process regarding goal setting, performance discussions, yearly reviews and consequence management.
  • Lead the annual increment, promotions and manpower budget exercise.
  • Demonstrate the ability to approach individual and team conflicts and facilitate mutually beneficial resolutions.
  • Maintain a positive and professional reputation and cultivate effective relationships with both internal/external stakeholders.
  • Listen and respond appropriately in a timely manner to unanticipated situations and stakeholder requests or concerns and demonstrate willingness to act on feedback.
