• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• 8-10 years of hands-on experience in data engineering roles.
• Strong proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, Glue, etc.) and Azure services (Databricks, Data Factory).
• Expertise in Apache Spark, pySpark, Scala, and SparkSQL for large-scale data processing.
• Solid understanding of Hive for data warehousing and SQL-based querying.
• Knowledge of Azure fundamentals and cloud computing principles.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in version control systems such as GitHub and build automation tools like Maven.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
