Job Summary
Job Description :
- Knowledge of good software design and application architectural practices
- Experience in data structures and algorithms
- Experience with code modularity and component de-coupling through APIs
- Experience with multithreading
- Strong debugging skills
- Understanding of Linux/Unix
- Networking fundamentals
- Knowledge in SQL (Sybase, Postgres)
- Scripting skills primarily Bash, Python
- Experience with working within automated testing environments
- A Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent.
- It will also be an added advantage if you have experience in AWS and familiarity with cloud concepts (elastic compute/storage and infrastructure as code), containerisation frameworks (Kubernetes, Docker), messaging platforms (Kafka, JMS MQs).
- Knowledge of SDLC tools (Git, Bamboo/Jenkins, JIRA or Confluence) as well as familiarity with unit testing frameworks (Junit or Mockito) will also be favorable along with prior working experience within the banking/financial services industry.
