Job Summary

The General Manager (Sales) reports directly to the CEO. He/She staffs and directs the Sales Team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with the company's vision and values. The General Manager (Sales) establishes, plans and strategies to expand the customer base, and contributes to the development of training for Sales Executives.

The major responsibilities of the GM Sales are:

Strategy and Planning: Use the understanding of the luxury car market potential in the region to define the dealership sales strategy and allocate annual, quarterly and monthly sales targets in alignment with the dealership management.

Define the target achievement strategy for the sales team by conducting business planning and forecasting exercises for sales departments.

Develop customer insights to design impactful customer offers and solution themes for the market in alignment with Audi India and dealership management

Sales Process Oversight: Regularly track sales process implementation and customer satisfaction performance by conducting KPI reviews with individual department heads and define mid-course corrections

Proactively drive sales process excellence and innovation in alignment with the dealership and Audi India strategic goals

Organization: Coordinate with the HR department, dealership management and Audi India to ensure deployment of critical HR processes for the sales team to ensure an effective and engaged workforce
