Job Description

Aureate Labs, lead by an experienced, talented team with demonstrable credibility is looking for a Senior PHP Developer to own the technology, drive the platform and contribute to the direction of the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for anybody who loves technology, innovation, learning new things, shaking things up and wants to play a crucial part in building something special.

What We Want You to Do

• Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team
• Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools
• Utilize backend data services and contribute to increasing existing data services API
• Refactor, optimize and improve the existing codebase for maintenance and scale
• Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues
• Document the development process, architecture, and standard components
• Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development

Technical Skills You Should Have

• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
• Proficient in PHP, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery Expert
• Extensive experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
• Excellent relational database skills with MySQL
• Experience with building restful JSON web services
• Understanding of responsive design frameworks such as bootstrap
