Job Summary

Job Description

  • As the Business Development Executive you will be responsible for new business development for Aurigin and identifying, processing and closing new sales opportunities within the assigned region.
  • Use our global private corporate database to generate leads for corporates looking for M&A targets, to raise capital or make strategic investments in other companies
  • Develop and manage relationships with new and existing members on Aurigin, through networking, and constant follow up via email and phone calls members include PE Funds/family offices/commercial banks, other capital providers, corporates, advisories and investment banks
  • Sell the core Aurigin products to existing members and convert them to paid members
  • Participate in new client acquisition strategy, core business strategy and growth discussions
  • Participate and lead (when necessary) product brain storming sessions
  • Attend industry networking events
  • Provide high touch client service to gain user acceptance
  • Deliver client training (via WebEx etc) on product functionality and new releases
  • Monitor product usage to ensure client retention and identify upsell opportunities
  • Provide continual feedback to management on market/client trends, competition and product feedback
  • Develop sales presentations and summaries of analytical conclusions for senior management.

Skills/Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of strong experience preferred in selling to top management team of investors, funds, large corporates etc. with the ability to generate and communicate unique value proposition at this level
  • Preferred who has done business development for software / tech product to PE/VC (investment management), Investment banking, financial enterprises domain
  • Excellent communication skills and presentation skills
  • Exceptional business and analytical skills and ability to run entire sales cycle independently
  • Highly motivated, disciplined, self- driven and passionate
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills required, including experience and proficiency with Ms Excel
  • Excellent convincing power, problem solving and persuasion skills
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Must have an understanding of deal origination in Investment banking and PE space
  • Experience in developed markets is an add-on

Qualification :
Post Graduate MBA/PGDM from Tier I/II Institutes (Finance/Marketing)
