Job Summary

Duties & Responsibilities:

Guide Operations team on compliance under Labour Laws, FSSAI, Legal Metallurgy, Consumer Forum, Police Coordination on Filing FIRs/NCs. Revert on all notices received from authorities under the above statute, draft replies & ensure avoidance of litigation and ensure compliance at all times.

Review the Company's litigation matters and advice Management on options available. Investigate, research, analyze thelegalmatters and appointment of appropriate Solicitors based on their past performances. Liaising with Solicitors for initiating and follow-ups onlegalprocedures, handling civil, criminal & arbitration cases

Review and draft responses toLegalnotices received in coordination with Solicitors / Attorney to ensure that responses are filed within stipulated time frame as decided by the Court ofLaw.

Meet concerned litigation parties / attorney to negotiate & settle matters amicably hence mitigating loss of time and revenue. Update Management of the proceedings and obtain approvals on proposed solutions for amicable resolution of the matter.

Coordinate with other departments for theirlegalrequirements and obtain understanding oflegalissues / arbitration matters. Draft and file complaints /lawsuits on behalf of the company in the Court ofLawthrough Solicitors. Represent the Management for Appeals / Hearings in various Courts and influence suitable favourable verdicts / judgments for the company to protect the company's interest

Liaise with the government authorities and other statutory bodies in order to comply with rules and regulations for smooth execution of the projects. Excellent rapport with revenue and other Govt. officials in the State.To represent the company at meetings with external bodies to ensure that thelegalaspects of any decisions are fully considered.

Carry out various due diligences of company's land banks and other joint ventures etc to ensure that alllegal& statutory requirements are in order. Obtain and maintain a database required documents for ready references. Brief Management in case of any lapse and recommend / initiate corrective actions to avoidlegalhassles

Responsible for overseeing all non litigationlegalmatters and providinglegalexpertise to the organisation while executing commercial agreements & transactions, JV agreements, development agreements, contracts document etc and ensure alllegalobligations and terms are captured to protect the company's interest and mitigate any risk which may arise from the same.

Carry out due diligences of existing documents like Sales deed, contracts & tender documents, non-disclosure agreements, tri-partite agreements etc and providelegalexpertise to ensure that the documents arelegallycorrect and that the company s interests are protected. Proactively implement framework to mitigatelegalrisk.

Supervise the application / registration of Trademarks, Copyrights, etc of Design, Product, Logos, Brands, and Name etc. Maintain a database / record of approvals received and pending cases. Sending notices, responses etc. for violation of trademark and patent. Supervise filing of appeals with concerned authorities and initiatinglegalaction, where ever required
