Key Responsibilities

Specific

  • To ensure accuracy in goods receiving procedure with regards to product description, quantity, quality, labeling and shelf life norms.

  • To ensure that Godown is maintained in neat and clean condition always.

  • To ensure Godown safety by adhering strictly to the stacking norms and other safety standards.

  • To ensure regular pest control is carried out in Godown.

  • To plan and delegate the work at the beginning of the day/shift to the team in order to achieve maximum efficiency.

  • To ensure the equipments such as weighing scale, exhaust fans, Godown Chiller/ freezer, lights etc. are kept in good working condition all the time.

  • To supervise effectively both internal employees and Vendor employees to avoid any untoward incidences in the Godown.

  • To follow all statutory norms for food storage as per FSSAI.

  • To train new employees on the receiving, stacking and record keeping procedures..

  • To ensure that processes pertaining to FIFO, Debit, Expiry etc are followed to the point.

  • To update the registers, files, checklists and reports on timely basis.

  • To monitor the cleanliness of Scarp Area.

Generic

  • Should be a good team player.

  • Require strong observation skills.

  • Should possess good interpersonal skills.
