Job Summary


Job Summary:

Provides actionable business intelligence to the organization used to make informed business decisions supporting strategic initiatives and driving increased revenue, profit and market share. Conducts industry research, analyzes external market data and identifies emerging business trends to support the competitive intelligence needs of the company and its operating groups. Utilizes data to evaluate the organization s competitive position within industry.


Principal Responsibilities:

  • Develops reports and other tools to deliver internal company information enabling business users to make informed decisions.
  • Uses external industry data to identify business trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Gathers, aggregates and models critical industry related data to forecast changing market variables.
  • Analyzes information from multiple external sources regarding company financial performance, customer insights, competitor profiling, competitive threats, potential product or technical expansion, industry trends and other such business intelligence aspects.
  • Organizes research and analytical results into concise presentations, narratives and consultative opinions to be presented and/or utilized by senior executives.
  • Promotes the use of analytical tools and methods in the business decision making process.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Extensive knowledge and application of principles, theories and concepts. Complete knowledge of all job functions and the broad industry best practices, techniques and standards.
  • Develops solutions to complex problems where analysis of situations and/or data requires in-depth evaluation of variables. Determine best approach to achieve results and provide suggestions to improve policies and procedures.
  • Work is performed independently and requires the exercise of judgment and discretion. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Work may be reviewed at a high-level.
  • May represent the organization as a primary contact on assignments and/or projects. Interacts with senior professionals and management and frequently coordinates work between departments or organizations.
  • Actions may impact the organization. Failure to accomplish work will result in the inability to reach crucial organizational goals. Erroneous decisions may have a prolonged effect resulting in the expenditure of substantial resources.


Work Experience:

  • Typically 5+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.


Education and Certification(s):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.


Distinguishing Characteristics:

  • Globally responsible for marketing analytics and reporting across a network of MDD transactional websites/marketing platforms to achieve PF sales per day performance in accordance with overall business strategy.

  • Customer level reporting and analysis of our marketing programs leading to improved Overall performance.
    Manage, lead, and develop a team to ensure the successful execution and innovation of our marketing proposition
    Lead driving core insights from the data to suggest, create and execute that drive fundamental improvements to the marketing campaigns.
    Transform large, complex, disparate, and often raw (normalized) data sets into quantifiable relationships, trends, and actionable insights.
    Produce analytics that drives and measure progress against multi-year marketing strategy.
    Deliver forward-looking marketing insights. Understand industry trends and evolving external landscape that may inform/influence strategic plans.
    Develop, enhance and maintain advanced analytic models that generate new business insights or deliver predictive services for marketing.
    Combine business data, industry benchmarks, and emerging industry trends to produce insights that inform the marketing strategy, customer experience, and customer segmentation at a global level.
    Leverage predictive analytics, experimental data designs, and models to drive marketing business performance.
    Develop predictive models on customer churn models/NPS, marketing attribution models, market basket analysis, customer Life Time Value (cLTV), etc. calculations to inform/influence marketing programs and multichannel activity, as well as to measure the effectiveness of marketing (ROI).
    Partner with the Leadership team, eComm/Marketing, BI, and other Business Units to develop best in class processes and techniques to leverage data sciences (i.e. predictive modeling) across PF.
