Maintaining hardware and software inventory.

Establishing security measures to protect network infrastructure from unauthorized access.

Monitoring network performance to identify potential problems and help ensure high performance levels.

Designing and implementing network security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technology.

Maintaining the network infrastructure by troubleshooting problems with servers, routers, switches, etc.

Coordinating with IT staff to implement software upgrades or patches on servers or workstations.
