Lead Network Administration Job in Bacentric Solutions

Responsibilities

• Primarily support Linux / UNIX Systems architecture
• Managing of directory services including LDAP
• Managing system backup, archive and restore as required
• Work with monitoring tools to maintain system and network health
• Work with desktop support staff when necessary to provide additional troubleshooting support
• Network Trouble Shooting and Maintenance of Cisco Hardware (Certifications will be a plus)
• Working closely with the technical and functional team to help design systems and infrastructure

Requirements

• A university degree or equivalent experience in an IT related organization
• Minimum of 5 years experience in UNIX/Linux system administration
• Advanced Perl scripting knowledge
• Should have strong networking and IT security knowledge
• Strong experience working with firewalls, VPNs, proxies, Email & Encryption Gateways, Web Application Firewalls, wireless solutions and MDM solutions
• Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
