Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the game development team to understand the technical and artistic requirements for the game

  • Create and implement game assets and special effects using industry-standard software and tools

  • Create character art, and design in 2D or 3D

  • Optimize game assets and special effects for performance and memory usage

  • Troubleshoot and debug technical issues related to game assets and special effects

  • Continuously improve the visual quality and performance of the game

  • Write scripts and tools to optimize work

  • Animate characters, creatures, and scenery

  • Creating sound effects, conducting audio mixes and design


Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of game development pipelines and tools

  • Proficient in industry-standard software and tools, such as Blender, Spine, Maya, Photoshop, After Effects, Unity, and Unreal

  • Strong knowledge of 3D modeling, texturing, and animation

  • Experience with special effects and particle systems

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Passion for video games and a desire to create visually stunning and technically impressive games.


General

  • Ability to work on assignments independently

  • Ability to work in teams as necessary

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of English is required, mention all other known languages

  • Willing and enthusiastic to learn new art technology and tools


Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or related field is preferred. Technical Course in Art and Design is mandatory.

Experience:

  • 5+ years in art and design for Games (self or industry)

  • 1+ years of relevant industry experience
