Job Summary

Position Summary:

The Analyst, Marketing Analytics, is part of a global team focused on advancing the impact of Bain s marketing activity. You will use advanced analytics to support global teams, develop and automate dashboards, and build robust data infrastructure to meet Bain s evolving marketing needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Dashboard Creation and Automation (40%) -

  • Create and automate dashboards to support the needs of global marketing teams.
  • Develop data visualizations using tools like Tableau and PowerBI, ensuring that dashboards are fast, user-friendly, consistent, and aligned with business needs.
  • Build, maintain, and execute repeatable reporting models for Bain marketing campaigns
  • Help to manage Bain s Analytics roadmap.

Data Infrastructure Development & Maintenance(40%) -

  • Develop and maintain data infrastructure to support the Marketing Analytics function, ensuring data quality and accessibility to enable marketing insights.
  • Utilize SQL and other data tools to manage, transform, and automate data flows, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and reliability.
  • Contribute to building a robust data ecosystem to support analytics.
  • Responsible for the data connections of a range of marketing tools.

Stakeholder Management and Communication (20%) -

  • Manage multiple projects, prioritize work, and ensure timely delivery of results.
  • Understand Bain s marketing priorities and translate those into Analytics use cases.

Experience -

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in an analyst, marketing analytics, or business intelligence role.
  • Experience in a professional services or marketing setting is preferred.
  • Experience working with Google, Adobe, and other major marketing platforms is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with relational databases and performing ETL processes is essential.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python is required; familiarity with other analytical tools is a plus.
  • Experience with dashboarding and visualization tools, including Tableau, PowerBI or similar.
  • Experience with Git and modern software development workflows is preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, with strong data wrangling and visualization capabilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize analysis and present insights clearly.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders, especially in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results and maintaining confidentiality.
