Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will have experience in graphic design with a strong understanding of creating user-friendly and visually appealing websites for both desktop and mobile platforms. As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining websites that are clear, easy to navigate, and aligned with the client s requirements. The role requires proficiency in web design tools and a creative mindset to deliver high-quality user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Web Design & Development:
  • Design and create visually appealing and user-friendly websites using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and other web design technologies.
  • Ensure web pages are responsive and optimized for various devices, including desktops, tablets, and mobile phones.
• Collaboration with Clients:
  • Work closely with clients to understand their vision and requirements for the website.
  • Provide design solutions that align with the client s business needs and branding.
• Graphic Design & Creative Work:
  • Use design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, Macromedia Dreamweaver) to create layouts, graphics, and assets for websites.
  • Develop visual designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and functionally effective.
• Maintenance & Updates:
  • Regularly update and maintain websites to ensure they stay current and fully functional.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to web design and functionality.
• Optimize User Experience:
  • Ensure websites are easy to navigate, with clear call-to-actions, user-friendly interfaces, and fast loading times.
  • Implement responsive design principles to ensure compatibility across different devices and screen sizes.
• Collaboration with Development Team:
  • Work with the development team to ensure that the design is implemented correctly on the website.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to implement design changes and optimize the front-end experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, and Bootstrap.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, Macromedia Dreamweaver, and Flash.
  • Familiarity with web design frameworks and tools.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in graphic and web design.
  • Fresher candidates may apply for a trainee position to learn and grow in the field.
• Creative & Design Skills:
  • Strong graphic design and typography skills.
  • Understanding of layout, color schemes, and visual elements to create engaging websites.
  • Ability to create designs that are visually appealing and easy to navigate.
• Communication Skills:
  • Strong communication skills to interact with clients, understand their needs, and provide feedback.
  • Ability to explain design concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail:
  • A keen eye for detail and ensuring quality in every aspect of web design.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and fix design-related issues promptly.

Other Skills (Nice to Have):

• Knowledge of SEO best practices for web design.
• Familiarity with basic UI/UX principles.
