Job Description -
We are seeking to hire a Public Relations specialist who will be responsible for building and maintaining a positive image for our company. You will be in charge of establishing and maintaining relationships with media groups, consumer, community, and public interest groups by writing press releases, articles and other media communications, with the public and clients interests. To be successful in this role, you will need excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with media, agency, consumer, community, employee, and public interest groups

Writing press releases, articles and other media communications to promote company

Preparing and editing in-housepublication, including newsletters, reports, for internal and external audiences

Conferring with managers to identify trends and group interests and providing advice on business decisions
Additional skill sets:
- Ability to pitch to the media

Knowledge of consumer marketing

An ability to work on big strategy plans as well as day-to-day tasks

Ability to think both creatively and strategically

Dealing with enquiries from the public, the press, and related organisations

Organising and attending promotional events such as press conferences, open days, exhibitions, tours and visits etc

Speaking publicly at interviews, press conferences and presentations

Providing information about new promotional opportunities and current PR campaigns progress

Analysing media coverage

Commissioning or undertaking relevant market research
