Job Summary

We are looking for a Marketing Content Writer to contribute content to our website, blog, social media pages, and other product collateral. Our content team is the voice of our company, providing the lens through which our users experience our products! You will be responsible to tell the stories around our products and our people, and to remember our focus on user experience.

We are looking for quick-witted, entrepreneurial and intellectually curious people to join the team. To succeed here, you ll need to be able to combine creativity with the organizational skills to manage numerous projects ad tight deadlines simultaneously, as well as enjoy pitching to all kinds of users, journalists, bloggers and technology commentators. You need to be an enthusiastic team player a self-starter who can work cross-functionally.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master s Degree in English, Communications, Journalism
  • 2+ years work experience in creating compelling web content in the B2B space
  • Excellent writing skills with a strong grasp of English and grammar
  • Ability to produce copy and revisions under tight deadlines while maintaining high quality
  • Willingness to work cross-departmentally to meet the needs of internal stakeholders
  • Strong research and interviewing skills are a must
  • Curiosity and interest to learn new things

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in content writing for software/ apps
  • Strong project management skills
  • Knowledge of SEO/SEM to help with content decisions
  • Experience with website analytics
  • Knowledge of Content Management System and basic Photoshop skills

Job Responsibilities

  • Producing quality technology focused content that will increase traffic to the site and increase social marketing initiatives. Goal is to educate customers and help with ranking on search engines
  • Writing and editing posts for the blog to generate inbound traffic
  • Creating content for website, social media pages, product support material, email campaigns
  • Producing copy for larger content pieces including user guides
  • Interviewing customers to get an insider perspective on product user experience, create testimonials
  • Build content partner relationship with lead tech publications and influences
  • Manage a monthly editorial calendar that covers business and technology trends in our space
  • Managing user contributed web content
  • Develop procedures to maintain and update web content
  • Keep up-to-date with best practices in writing for the web, social media trends, web usability, web design and business/industry trends
