Job Summary

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for proactive planning in terms of preparation of seed material following the forecast and in close coordination & in connection with operation/supply plant.
  • RFT gap review and closing in IA based on S&OP schedule.
  • Supporting and facilitating S&OP Short Term through Control Tower OFA and Mid-TermSupply Review process including recommending and overseeing improvements across product/portfolio, demand, supply planning and financial planning.
  • Monitor KPIs and Dashboards to provide comprehensive reports, analytics and visibility around S&OP Control Tower OFA and Supply Review outcomes to S&OP stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Global Supply Specialist, Inventory Specialist, Market Specialist, Trade & Compliance and Shipping Department securing that shipments of seed are compliant with the market specific requirements.
  • Crop Lock production planning review collaborate with Global Production Planner, Demand Planner and Regional Product Managers to ensuring production plans are in placed against of consensus demand and sourcing model.
  • Requesting seed movements via STO/PO thru customer care team from Sourcing Plants out of their region to replenish Distribution Centers.
  • Monitor phytosanitary requirements to ensure phytosanitary eligibility of seed being produced in the plant.
  • Participating and support for S&OP PR,SR and IR work stream meetings for strategic alignment and providing analytic view for target alignment.
  • Provide information on commercial/non-commercial seeds availability to commercial and other key stakeholders for their operations plan.
  • Oversee priorities for operations and QA testing.

WHO YOUR ARE:

  • Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Business or Economics related areas.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the seed business and logistic/operational planning.
  • Extremely strong judgment with attention to detail.
  • Perseveres in achieving results and consistently meets commitments.
  • Communicates effectively and follows up with all stakeholders.
  • Works pro-actively while anticipating needs of the team and initiating actions to provide solutions.
  • Takes responsibility for special projects as assigned.
  • Demonstrates ability to think outside of the box to accomplish work tasks.
  • Demonstrates flexibility in adapting to the needs of the job and team.
  • Strong ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects and requests.
  • Must be an effective team player and proficiently work with cross functional teams.
  • Computer proficient with ERP System such like SAP, BO, SteelWedge, Spotfile and Microsoft office.
