What you'll do at Beaconstac: Design content to clearly and easily convey the product intent to the customer through Product copy (UI copy), Support documentation, and release notes. Collaborate with other stakeholders to define the content design strategy and effectively manage the request pipeline Establish a Content design guide for the company in collaboration with other Content Designers & Product strategists Be able to spar & partner with the Product Designer to co-own the end-to-end experience to decide how much is conveyed via the interface and where would words come into action An understanding of internationalization, localization, accessibility, and implications of translations Provide guidance and recommendations to stakeholders from other function Skills you bring to the table: A minimum of 4 years meandering the world of words where experience working with SaaS companies would be an added bonus Experience handling multiple products or product suites Ability to work in cross-functional teams with a knack to collaborate & influence A high degree of drive and motivation and doing justice to the craft all the time Good command of the English language, an understanding of design tools & processes, and design research practices Ability to bring in the Konmari to manage Content Design Highly collaborative at heart, open to experiment with an appetite to take meaningful risks and be an advocate for user-centric Content Design Experience handling knowledge base, writing knowledge articles, user manuals, release notes, and scripts for product explainer videos besides core UX writing Portfolio and/or work samples showcasing your process and design output
