Job Summary
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven knowledge of algorithms and complexity analysis
- Exposure to issue tracking and project management systems (JIRA, Bitbucket, GitHub)
- Good understanding of relational databases, ETL and data integration from multiple sources & stream processing
- Develop and test Apache Beam/ Dataflow custom plug-ins in Java on cloud & on-premises environment
- 5+ years of Java backend development with hands-on experience
- 3+ years of Big Data processing technologies such as Spark, Apache Beam, and Druid (preferable)
- Experience with any of the major cloud providers, AWS, or Azure
- Familiarity with microservice architecture and multi-tenant application development
- Hands-on working experience with TDD using Junit & Mockito, Git, Jenkins, and Maven
- Should possess troubleshooting skills using debuggers, logs, etc.
- Strong knowledge of Core JAVA / Scala and concurrency, SDK 1.8+ and functional concepts, and build systems (Maven, Gradle, SBT)
- DevOps / DataOps and CI / CD frameworks technology enthusiast preferred
