Purposeof the Role: To create and produce copy for gaming brands the company services

Key Responsibilities:

Producingcopy which is aligned to brand tone of voice for emails, newsletters,campaigns, landing pages and where applicable; press releases

Generatingstand-alone copy, or text to complement visual concepts

Seekingfeedback from colleagues to adapt drafts and createfinished pieces thatattract and persuade

Writinggaming previews, opinion pieces and shareable content for the Companys partnershipsand online blog

Providingcopy for various other marketing materials as and when required

Ensuringthat all content complies with Codes of Advertising Practice (CAP),

Collaborating,communicating and building strong relationships with the key internal andexternal stakeholders

Dealingwith internal Localisation requests as and when they come through

Creatingpromotional emails/copy/text for the CRM team

Creatingcopy for our print publication obligations

Activelymanaging and running the online blog, creating posts, engaging content andadvertising promotional offers. Reporting back to line manager with learnings

Other responsibilities:

Followingteams and Companys processes and procedures effectively

Keepingabreast of professional knowledge by maintaining personal networks and studyingdevelopments within the industry. Participating in training as appropriate tomaintain own professional expertise and CPD

Escalatingissues to direct manager as appropriate

Undertakingother reasonable duties as instructed by senior management

Required Skills and Abilities:

Keeninterest in a wide range of sports

Abilityto gauge topical sporting stories of interest appealing to a gaming audience

Industryknowledge around sports with an understanding of gaming terminology

Passionfor writing, with good knowledge of different forms of copywriting

Goodeye for detail and desire for perfection

Excellentwritten and spoken communication skills in English

Excellentinterpersonal skills and willingness to collaborate

Creativityand ability to translate ideas into copy

Abilityto think outside of the box and produce original and engaging content

Goodprioritising and time management skills, with commitment to meet deadlines

Desirable Skills and Abilities

Previousexperience within the gaming, Sports industry

Track recordof producing articles for an online sports audience

Experiencein social media, sports journalism, digital or communications field
