Job Description Job Description: Understand, gather & document functional and non-functional requirements from a quality perspective Design end to end test strategy, test plan and automation framework using Selenium, Restassured, BDD, Cucumber, Java, JavaScript Develop the automation test scripts for functional, performance, responsiveness, load on the core framework Develop the regression test suite Execute the automation test cases and prepare test exit reports Work closely with developers to triage bugs and get them fixed Assign modules to team members for development, coach and guide them to help successfully complete their module development Lead the sprint quality review presentation with test status reports Work closely with the project manager to ensure testing progresses as per overall project plan Qualifications Skill Sets: The Automation Test Engineer is expected to have: 5+ years of strong experience in API and UI automation by using Selenium, Restassured. Experience in building automation framework by using TestNG, BDD, Cucumber, Maven, Jenkin, Git Experience in programming language - Java, Javascript Experience in testing backend APIs Experience interacting with customers, architects, development leads and developers Experience in documenting requirements, test strategy, plan, test cases, cases, test exit report Experience on cloud platform - Azure Good to have Appium automation for Android native app testing and web app testing Non-functional testing (Performance, Load, Spike, etc.) expertise using JMeter, Load Runner, etc. Mentoring and leading a small team of automation testers Additional Information
