Qa Engineer - Mobile Testing Job in Better World Technology Pvt. Ltd.

• You understand and implement effective test strategies to assess the quality of the system under test, through effective test planning, test case designing, test execution and automation of those tests.
• You voice your opinion in the design, coding, deployment, and post-deployment phases in constructive way.
• You'll implement and own quality gates for code changes, constantly raising the users' experience bar, while enhancing development experience with earlier and consistent discovery of issues.
• Our QAEs are not pure black box testers; they understand the software internals, debug problems, and write automated tests using a variety of frameworks.
• You will develop high-quality test automation to driver lower operational costs and faster deployments.

Who should apply for this role?

• Basic Qualification: BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical field
• 2/3+ years of proven experience as QAE
• Good programmer - Java or Javascript or any modern OOPL
• Preferred Qualification
• Great understanding of Microservices, RESTful architecture and APIs, HTTP & HTTPs protocols
• Experience testing large scale Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) systems, distributed systems & RESTful services
• Demonstrated experience in leading QA effort on large-scale software projects or deliverables
• Experience with using Agile development methodologies
• Experience using Postman, RestAssured and automated API testing
• Experience designing GUI test using Appium/Katalon
• Experience developing tests for Mobile (Android and/or iOS) platform - interrupt test, orientation change, debug API calls, hybrid app testing, performance testing
• Demonstrated experience in measuring and reporting quality-related metrics to identify trends and proactively solve problems
• Strong experience with QA methodologies and software testing techniques and tools
• Demonstrated experience in test strategy implementation, test planning, test designing, and test execution
• Experience using test cases & test execution management tools (like TestRail), issues management tools (like Jira or Redmine) and development environments (like Visual Studio, IntelliJ or Eclipse)
• Experience working closely with development and business teams
• Good oral and written communication skill
• Understanding of Android or iOS internals will be great add-on
