Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Administrator specializing in data infrastructure management. As the AWS Administrator - Data Infrastructure Manager, your primary responsibility will be to manage the entire infrastructure of multiple projects within our company. You will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of AWS-based data infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, scalability, and security.

Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Management: Manage the entire data infrastructure of multiple projects within the company, including planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining AWS-based infrastructure components.
• AWS Services: Configure and manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Redshift, and Lambda to support data storage, processing, and analytics needs of the projects.
• Scalability and Performance: Optimize infrastructure architecture and configurations for scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness, ensuring the efficient use of AWS resources.
• Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices, including data encryption, access control, and compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Set up monitoring systems and implement proactive measures to ensure infrastructure stability and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues promptly.
• Backup and Disaster Recovery: Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies to safeguard data and ensure business continuity.
• Automation and Scripting: Utilize automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., AWS CloudFormation, Python) to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, developers, and project managers, to understand infrastructure requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure architecture, configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices. Propose and implement infrastructure enhancements to optimize performance, security, and efficiency.

Qualifications:/Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as an AWS Administrator or a similar role, with expertise in managing AWS-based data infrastructure.
• AWS Certification(s) such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or AWS Certified Solutions Architect is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services and their configurations, including EC2, S3, RDS, Redshift, and Lambda.
• Experience in infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance within AWS, ensuring scalability, high availability, and fault tolerance.
• Solid understanding of networking principles, security best practices, and compliance requirements in an AWS environment.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Python, or similar.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
