Job Summary

Description

  • 12-17 years experience in IT and / or Information Security.

  • 7+ of experience in IT Leadership and managing teams
  • Expert-level understanding of todays IT threat landscape and information security architectures, as well as applicable laws, regulations, and compliance frameworks (SOC I/II, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, NIST CSF, etc.).
  • Demonstrated success leading large scale initiatives/transformations and transitions across an enterprise
  • Must have been part of Global teams leading and managing SOC and other technology for assuring Information Security such as threat monitoring, vulnerability management, attack surface reduction, threat hunting, threat intelligence etc.
  • Established procedures for creating new use cases to detect emerging threats and continuously improve existing use cases to threat hunting practices to proactively discover new threats.
  • As technical SME, must have led all conversations related to products, solutions, design, solution architecture and outcomes.
  • Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate, influence and network effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Understanding of Security Architecture and Infrastructure including threat modelling
  • Must have experience in setting up all controls relevant to NIST CSF in an organization. Should be familiar with the best practices of OWASP, SANS Institute, ISACA, GAO, FISCAM, NSA, NIST, Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF)
  • Capability to develop a framework to test compliance of applications / systems.
  • Must be able to understand complex networks to ensure appropriate deployment of agents for monitoring
  • Lead staff to proactively identify, prevent and respond to security incidents.
  • Must be able to fix and remediate security threats and risk by suitable and quick mitigations (patches, upgrades, fixes and other solutions)
